About Avon Grove NFL Flag Football

NFL Flag League provides structured non-contact flag football leagues for players ages 5 through Adult during the spring and fall. All divisions are co-ed.

NFL Flag Football (ages 5 through adult) is a five-on-five version of traditional flag football, in which a flag hanging from a waist belt must be snatched in lieu of tackling.

• League boundaries have not been set, players from all areas are eligible to play in the Avon Grove NFL Flag Football League.
• League age runs from August 31, to September 1. Player's age on September 1, 2007 determines league age for the 2007 seasons.
• Registrations are only accepted on-line.
• Copy of a birth certificate (new players only) must be mailed or faxed within 2 weeks of registering
• Tryouts will not be required.
• Drafts will take place approximately 30 days after registration, usually in Mid March for spring and Mid August for the fall season.
• Players will be placed on a NFL team listed within their age group
• Their will be 10 players per team depending on enrollment.
• We will have 5 divisions, (5 & 6) ( 7 & 8), (9 & 10 ), (11& 12), (13, 14 & 15), (16 up, Adults)
• All games will be held at Crossan Park, located in Kemblesville, PA, Sunday afternoons .
• Practice schedules are up to the team coaches, most coaches will practice once or twice a week.
• Practices will start in late March for the spring season and late late August for the fall season.
• Spring season will open the last weekend in early April and will run to early November.
• Fall season will open early September, and will run to the middle of November.
• Tournaments will be hosted at the end of the season
• Each player will receive an official NFL Jersey, a mouth piece and a trophy.
• No other equipment will be required, players may wear non-metal cleats to games and practices.
• Players keep the jerseys and mouth piece after the season ends.
• Fees for Avon Grove NFL Flag will be $70 per player, payments must be made on line with a major credit card.
• All parents are required to volunteer on line when registering and work the concession one half of any game per season.
• Opening day activities will be announced.
